Mars 4:45 The Resource Module: Argon Displacement

There are dangers to living on the Red Planet and one of the scariest is the threat of fire. The Resource module has an attachment built in that will take the argon out of the atmosphere. Argon will be used to fight fires in the different modules and other areas with oxygenated zones. Thinking on a long term scale, argon will be needed as an insulating gas for building projects that require welding.

“Checked the Argon readings this morning. Fire Fighting levels are good, construction levels 10% below production targets. Will need to check this out during free time tomorrow.”
